the niu Cobbles

The desk staff was super welcoming and had a great attitude (shout out to Greta!). The room was bigger than I imagined, and the bed was probably the most comfortable one I had ever tried in any hotel. The connection to the train station was great (one metro stop and 2 minute walk to the hotel), and only a 10 EUR Uber ride at night. The breakfast was also very good, not huge but varied and of good quality. Overall I was very impressed about the overall experience and how little we paid. Absolutely recommended!

Great value, very modern and clean rooms. In a safe location and close to the Essen train station. Staff is very friendly and available 24/7, and breakfast is also pretty good. Bed is comfy and blackout curtains are fantastic - I thought it was still the middle of the night when it was already full sun outside. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very comfortable. The bar area was very nice to relax in with a good choice of drinks. It was very good value for money.

I was surprised by the rooms, they were individual decorated and the windows could even be opened. The breakfast was good, especially as the hotel wasn't that big. I very ,much liked the art that was present everywhere and the staff could even tell from whom the art was and if you could purchase it.
